Neil F. Maloney nmaloney@gtpp.com Neil Maloney’s practice focuses on U.S. and foreign patent strategy in a wide variety of technical disciplines, including hardware, software, electromechanical, semiconductors, and material sciences. Having represented clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, he has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications. Neil is also experienced in drafting intellectual property agreements and opinion letters regarding issues such as infringement, validity, and product clearance. Prior to law school, Neil worked for over 8 years as an electrical engineer, first at Raytheon Company where he developed and maintained various hardware and software systems used in the performance testing of digital, analog, and high frequency circuitry, and then at Lam Research Corporation, where he developed and maintained real-time embedded software operating in a multitasking environment for controlling semiconductor processing systems. Neil received his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1999 and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Roger Williams University in 1988. He is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a member of American Intellectual Property Law Association. |
