GTPP Successful At The Court Of Appeals For The Federal Circuit
GTPP attorneys Steve Grossman and Beth Filip recently received a favorable determination for GTPP's client, T.F.H. Publications, Inc., before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The case before the CAFC was on appeal from an interference proceeding at the United States Patent Office. In the interference proceeding, T.F.H. moved for a finding that the opposing party's patent claims were obvious and therefore unpatentable, leading to a USPTO cancellation of U.S. Patent No. 6,408,797 under 35 USC § 135(a). On appeal before the Federal Circuit, the USPTO decision was affirmed in its entirety.
